Doujinshi Raws
Hey y'all! Long time no post! Here are some doujinshi scans I've recently done: This Doujinshi 'Triple' is an anthology of 3 compiled doujinshis made by author(?) Shou Ohtori. It is 78 pages long, it is originally 80 but I did not count the other sides of the peach blank pages in order to save a bit of space. [Poll] Ulduar Hardmodes Poll #1504157 LOLduar punch?
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: All, participants: 11 When should we start punching Ulduar hard modes for the achievement/Prododrake? Basically, kuribo_power brought up a good point in that, as new wings in ICC open, we may not be able to /do/ the whole thing in a single night, which might cut out both of our raid nights for anything other than ICC. I, for one, would /really/ like my Rusted Protodrake before they take it out, and I'd like to just go ahead and get it all out of the way instead of try to rush and possibly not manage it before some kind of deadline. But that's my personal take on it-- what do you guys think? |

Hunter ammo
While we currently have a good 42000 arrows of epic grade, eventually we will want to be able to make our own, and that costs a Saronite. I.e. 23 frost emblems for us mooks who can't get the trash/bosses to drop the stuff. 23 frost emblems for the recipe is...steep. It's great ammunition, don't get me wrong, but who wants to spend that? They are currently 3.45 gold a stack, but you'd be surprised how much our ladies can shoot per raid night. It will take a while, but they WILL burn through 42000 eventually. Especially if Herle gets the bow off Deathwhisper too. Right now the saronite is going for over 3k. I find it steep, myself, and kick myself a little for NOT buying some when it hovered around 2k. After the holidays end and raiding picks back up for many more guilds the value may drop again. I want to suggest we use guild funds to buy one for the ammo pattern if their value ever touches near 2000 gold again. If prices are stupidly low, we should discuss if we wish to buy more for other patterns/plans/such things. I for one will be crafting the tanking boots eventually (I need 138 frost emblems, Rulune/Ishie have 44 each, so I'm at 88 and I didn't do the weekly on them yet) but others may have plans eventually.The crafted stuff is ilvl 264, it's damn good. |

10 man strict and us
Since people have been wondering and it came up today, here's the official stance I could find about it. Guilds will be excluded when they earn any Icecrown Citadel (ICC) 25 normal kills or any TotGC 25 hard-mode kills. Guilds must also have their 10M Progress World Rank be better than (lower than) their 25M Progress World Rank. We have added a special trigger for the ICC 25 normal kills that will exclude a guild from strict rankings when 3 players achieve any boss kill in the same raid or a total of 8 players achieve it over time. For example, if your guild pugs ICC 25 normal then you will be excluded from the strict rankings when a total of 8 players in your guild participate in the Lord Marrowgar 25 normal kill (or if 3 of them earn the kill in the same raid). Please ensure you discourage your guild members from participating in any ICC 25 normal and TotGC 25 hard-mode runs if you wish to remain on the strict rankings. Also be sure minimize the recruitment of players that have previously achieved these kills since they will contribute to the guild total, regardless of when they achieved it. I've checked, their system DOES verify Marrowgar by himself, so we really can't cheese it by doing 3 fights and ditching at Saurfang. And while yes, we could technically PUG it separatly: Is it really fair? To say 'only these 7 people can PUG ICC 25' and leave it at that? I don't think it is. If we're gonna try at being the best 10 man guild we can, then let's stick to those guns. |

question..
What do you currently use for tracking debuffs? I am either missing some things or may have too much happening on my screen during fights and am losing information in the spam. My main concern is debuffs that stack. I can see debuffs fine but if there is something that stacks, such as with Forgemaster Garfrost, I don't see anything. I'm not sure what would show the stacks.. addons I use that I'm sure would are DBM, dottimers and I'm sure settings in Shadowed Unit Frames. I'm currently cleaning house with my UI, setting it up very efficiently last night, more for ease of use rather than looks. (even tho it does look pretty good if i do say so..) So if I can't figure out what is going on with what i have, I'd love to hear suggestions on what you all use for tracking debuffs in a nice clean way. I know I need to go in to finish up my set up, find a way to hide or condense the buffs frame because god, during a raid there is too much there. Also need to tweak some things in Scrolling Combat Text. I just have TOO much info on screen. Current Music: deathmetal blasting from cubicle next to me. can hear it through his earphones. |

Black Temple: Teron Gorefiend
So, tomorrow, we go into Black Temple. Hugglebunny informed me of a boss that we need to be ready for. We will, in all likelihood, wipe on him. He has a mechanic that sounds kinda interesting and also immensely frustrating, and we need to be ready for it. Every 30 seconds or so, Teron will put a debuff on a random player, called Shadow of Death. After 55 seconds, you turn into a ghost and spawn 4 mobs -- the hate-filled ghosts mentioned down below. You'll get new abilities and a new bar. Why does he do this? Because he is sending angry, hate-filled ghosts to eat the raid. There is a trick to his hate-filled ghosts: they can only be targeted by player ghosts. If Teron's ghosts get to the raid, the raid wipes. The ghosts will aggro on the healers, and can't be targeted by players. So if you're turned into a ghost, you need to know what to do! WoWWiki has an article, and Huggle explained the fight to me. The moment you get that buff, start looking at it. At 15 seconds, RUN AWAY FROM THE RAID. Not 14! Not 13! This is very important! Run south. WoWWiki claims you can stop him from casting the spell -- Shadow of Death, a cast bar with one second -- by Ice Block, Divine Shield, Feign Death, or Vanish during the cast bar. Huggle said this is new and it may not work; DKs should try Anti-Magic Shell, too. A ghost has two abilities to be concerned about: an AOE shackle that works like Frost Nova (keyed to 4 on your bar) and a ranged attack that puts a slowing debuff on them (keyed to 3). The ghost needs to run to the south end and shackle them, then use the single target attack to keep every ghost with three stacks of a debuff. There are other buttons. Huggle recommends not using them, as they are distractions -- one is an AOE nuke, one puts a shield on a healer, and one melee attacks Teron Gorefiend. These buttons should probably not see much use, except the AOE nuke. Your goal is kiting to keep them from getting to the raid, and killing them with the single target attack that puts on a debuff. When you've killed your four angry hate-filled ghosts, a new person's may be up. Run over and help them! Shackle and apply the debuffs as needed. After 60 seconds as a ghost, you flat-out die; this is how long you have to kill your ghosts. Healers need Soul Stones, Shamans should be ready to blow their ankhs, et cetera. Battle rezzes will be a must. Other players need to focus on burning Teron Gorefiend down as hard as you possibly can. EDIT: There is a whole flash minigame so you can try the ghost phase with. Controls are w,a,s,d for movement (or arrow keys) and the bar works like it will during the boss encounter. Practice makes perfect!EDIT 2: We don't have Tankspot for this, so instead we'll have to settle for poorly spelled instruction videos set to Motley Crue. EDIT 3: We may wanna look into getting an older BC-era DBM for this. Anyone know where such can be found? |

Xiuli's coworker priest friend (Meg, I think?) seems to have vanished from the roster when I was checking to add her for an event, did she server transfer back or go to another guild or something? |
